Health Equity Organizing Manager 

Full-Time, Exempt | Salary: $65,700

FLA seeks a full-time Health Equity Organizing Manager to advance health equity and youth-led organizing and advocacy campaigns that prevent substance abuse and promote wellness on the Central Coast. The Manager will supervise two full-time organizers who carry out prevention grant activities (ADP, OurSB, and MAT Access) focused on opioid, drug, and alcohol use.

This position will guide and coordinate FLA’s Youth Wellness Coalition, a countywide coalition of 12 community-based organizations/agencies committed to addressing youth alcohol and other drug (AOD) issues. The Manager will train, guide, and supervise organizers as they mobilize youth and community partners to lead local campaigns, ensure all prevention grant deliverables are met, and foster strong partnerships with decision-makers and stakeholders.

By blending grassroots organizing with policy and advocacy, the Policy and Health Equity Manager will help youth leaders and coalition members move solutions forward, ensuring their voices and lived experiences shape healthier, more equitable communities.
